What Is The Difference Between Eczema And Staph Infection?

Hello Dr. My baby boy who is 7 months old had eczema since he was 5 months old
Now his condition is worsen and he has passes and both cheeks affected 2 days before I noticed small rushes on his eyebrows too. It looks very painful and when I cleaned areas with hydrogen peroxide I removed coverings and skin became red with whitish areas. Because English is my second language I have a difficulties with professional and medical terms of disease. I wonder he has staph infections or candida infections based on his eczema, how can I differentiate these two types of skin infections. Thank you

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi Dear
welcome to the HCM,
Atopic Dermatitis along with some seborrhic dermatitis may be the probable cause.
Apply some mild steroidal cream over face .Ketoconzole shampoo once a week may also help. avoid eyes spilling of fuid.
Some antiallergic medicine like cetrizine for some time will also reduce the symptoms.
Hope the query is answeredd.
thanks
