Hello,

Regarding the Vizylac and Enterogermina, I has used Probiotics for years in my patients on oral antibiotics. I have found it very useful in decreasing the duration of loose stools and the frequency. I believe this to be a sound and good idea. The difference between Augmentin DDS and DUO, Augmentin DDS contains 400mg of amoxicillin and 57mg of Clavulonic acid whereas Augmentin DUO contains 200mg of amoxicillin and 28.5 mg of Clavulonic acid. These are the exact same medications except the DDS form is twice the strength, so 2 doses of Augmentin DUO is equal to one dose of Augmentin DDS.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
