What Is The Difference Between Duphaston And Siphene?

Hello, I am 30 and its been 1 year we been trying for baby. Last month I went to gynecologist, she said i have PCOS initial stage (where as my periods where regular every month no side effects) Doc. asked me to take Duphaston tablet for next 5 cycles and i heard about Siphene 100mg also from my other doctor who suggested me not to go with Duphaston(progesterone tablets). Can you please suggest me what is the difference between both the tablets? which would be the best if we are planning for a baby.

Understand your concern
Duphaston contain progesterone hormone and regularize the period in PCOS
Siphene contain clomiphene citrate and used for induction of ovulation in PCOS,oligoovulation.
You have to go for reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study that will help in management.
Anovualtion and hormonal imbalance in PCOS cause menstrual irregularity and fertility related problem.
I think you have to use both the drugs as you are trying to conceive since last one year.
Siohene should be used for 5 days in each cycle (3rd to 5th day of cycle), that induce the ovulation and help in fertilization.
Progesterone in the second phase of cycle (15th to 25th day of cycle):it cause menstruation in time/regular.
