What Is The Cure For The Oesophageal Spasms And Acid Reflux?

I have been for many tests due to esophageal spasms due to a diagnosis of acid reflux. I am currently attending a naturopathic doctor and on an elimination diet to find out if I am allergic to any foods to prevent these spasms. They are getting worse, I have been dealing with this worsening condition for almost six years. Do you have any suggestions. It is really getting me down.

Hi,
You can use prokinetic drugs along with protom pump inhibitors which will help in unidirection movement of food and anti spasmodic drugs like buscopan will help in relieving from spasms. The main treatment is to find the cause for this trigger and to treat them.

If not relieved from the above measures you can consult gastroenterologist for further management.
