What Is The Correct Treatment For Grade 3 Tear Posterior Horn Of Medial Meniscus?
Dear Sir , I am Navin M/36 from mumbai. I Am suffring today for grade 3 tear posterior horn of medial meniscus. Sometimes I suffer with pain for 4-5 days after rest it would be ok . Then some time I again suffer from pain . iN that comdition what kind od treatment I do which will best and not suffer after that treatment

Meniscus injuries are difficult to manage.
This is because menisci are avascular structures.
Healing of meniscal tears ans injuries is negligible since there is no blood supply.
Management is based on degree of injury and degree of disability.
Initially a conservative approach is followed and later surgical treatment may be required.
Surgical treatment consists of removal of the meniscal cartilage.
You need to consult an orthopedician for further work up.
