What Is The Correct Dose Of Gestranol In Pregnancy?

About one year ago My wife faced an abortion. Now she has diagonised pregnant. Doctor prescribed her gestranol tab 3 time each day for five month. As I know gestranol is important to tackle abortion, but for five month/3time/1day! Is it really need or is it has any negative impact for child?
