What Is The Clinical Correlation For Child's X-ray That Shows Haziness In Right Basal?
i have a daugther 1 year and 10 months, her xray shows haziness in the right basal. Impression pnuemonitis, right. For my son 4yrs old xray result, haziness with congestion of the hilar areas. Heart diaphragm and sinuses are unremarkable. Impression: Hilar congestion. Correlate clinically. Thanks a lot.

this means infection of chest it can be acute or chric as the infections can lead to drainaige of fluid from tissues causing haziness
if the infection is acute the haziness should disappear after taking course of antibiotics if does not clear can investigate for chronic infections like tb sarcoidosis and other diseases
