What Is The Cause Of Pus Cells In Stool And What Is The Suggested Treatment?
My two month old baby suddenly poop like 10times in a day I took her τ̲̅õ̸̳͡ hospital for complain and they did stool test for her and found out that there was numerous pus on the stool . What could B̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣ the cause of this and how τ̲̅õ̸̳͡ fight it
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of a 2 month old baby started sudden loose stools about 10 per day, took her to hospital, numerous pus cells were found, wants to know the cause and how to fight this.... It is highly unlikely that the baby is top-fed. Hence if the Mother is breast feeling the baby, the infection is transmitted from the nipple. Simple exercise of cleaning the nipple with concentrated spirit and allow it to evaporate will stop the recurrence. The present condition needs to be treated by an oral antibiotic. Another reason can be infected bottles and nipples if the baby is bottle fed; sterilizing the containers in boiling water should solve the problems.
