What Is The Cause Of Lumps On The Sides Of The Neck ?

My 1 yr old has lumps on side of neck , looks like there on his veins. And the veins get big when hes doing something constructive Or screaming,,they dont seem to bother him but he use to have lumps behind his ears too but they have pretty much went away..the doc said a couple months ago that they where swollon glands but they are still on his neck and hes not sick..do u know if this could be something else??

Lumps on side of neck are more likely to be lymph nodes

Swollen gland in children are common after any head and neck infection and they are otherwise also palpable in thin and lean children

If he is not sick and there is no other symptom nothing to worry

In case they increase, he has fever of the skin over it gets red - approach your caregiver
