What Is The Cause Of Headache?

I am 41 yo and I recently had MRI that showed : mild frontal volume loss and and chronic non specific sub cortical white matter changes..
Is that normal for my age.. .? Had MRI because of headaches most likely when I was very stressed or tired...+_ 2x a month

Hi.

dr vishal here

MRI finding is inconsistent with your complain.
decrease brain volume or white matter changes can occur along with increasing age.

Headache is most likely due to stress.
Psychological stress can lead to fatigue and sleep disturbances.
So daily headache without any other complication is due to stress.
Need to relax.
Take proper food.
maintain daily schedule.
proper sleep.
avoid alcohol or smoking.
Exercise and meditations can help.

MRI doesn't show any serious pathology so no need to undergo any neurological examinations.
Mild anxiolytic can also help.
Consult your doctor for further help if require.
Thank you.
