What Is The Cause Of Child S Dysentery And Rashes?
Hello Doctor, My baby is 10 months old and he is suffering from dysentery,as advised by the doctor we are giving her lot of water frequently & porridge, curd rice but the stool color has changed into green in the second day..mrvr rashes makes her screaming whole night...its become reddish& he cant even sit properly.. also he cant eat anything
It seems that the child has Gluten allergy or intolerance to other foods such as Lactose, which is manifesting itself as diarrheas and rashes.
Give a trial by stopping all foods containing wheat, rye and barley. The diagnosis will be confirmed if all symptoms will start improving within a week of stopping these products. Add vitamins and minerals supplements as long as the baby has diarrhea.
Greenish stools are normal in infants. So, there is nothing to worry about.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable/modified treatment as advised.
If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.
