What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain While Eating?

When i eat my chest hurts, its like a small stabbing pain i guess. I cant really explain but it hurts i dont know if its my chest or heart but the pains near towards the left. The pain lasts about 10 seconds i guess. Whats causing this and how can i stop it? Should i be worried.

Thanks for your query.
Probably you are suffering from gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD). For this you need to take pantoprazole 40 mg tablet twice daily before food for at least 6 weeks. Otherwise symptoms will recur again. Along with this you need to have some life style modifications like avoidance of smoking, alcohol, fatty, spicy and fast food, tea and coffee, plenty of water to take around 3-4 liter daily, small but frequent bland diet intake and head end elevation during sleep. I think you will be benefited with all these.
