What Is The Cause For Persistent Chest Pain When On Myprodol?
hie i am a 24 year old female and about a month ago i suddenly started experiencing chest pain. This was after i noticed i had shortness of breath and a metallic taste in my mouth during jogging. This was strange as i normally jog and had only stopped for a period of about 2 months. Thereafter i started experiencing the chest pain and even called the paramedics once and was taken to the ER. Tests were done and i was told that my heart, lungs were all fine and that i probably had a torn muscle due to coughing. I was given Myprodol, however the pain is still there...its a heaviness and tightness in my chest. This condition is making me very anxious as one of the paramedics said it could be an angina. Please help
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really can understand your problem, this is not the torn muscle, this is more looks like exercise induce breathlessness (Asthma), because of the narrowing of bronchial trees you might be feeling chest discomfort, or pain, if I would be your doctor then I would surely treat you with the following drugs 1) Tab. Terfenadine twice in day for three months 2) Tab. Dexamethasone 8 mg one tab. three times in day (Taper the dose every after three days by 8mg till you finish or come on zero mg) I hope this will help you in over coming your problem, have nice day.
