Suggest Treatment For Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia

I have congenital adrenal hyperplasia and have extremely high cortisol levels. My endocrinologist did a low dose dexamethasone suppression test and my cortisol dropped to a little below normal-3. It was 39 prior to the test. I know he was trying to determine if I have Cushing s or not. I m not taking any steroids or meds that would raise my cortisol levels. I was on dostinex for 3 months and my levels went from 37 to 39 so I just recently stopped taking it. What does this result normal result of the test tell him and what are the most common treatments for this?

Hello,

Well, I think the problem you have mentioned is not congenital adrenal hyperplasia. You should get your ACTH levels done to diagnose it further. If ACTH is low kindly do ct scan of adrenals. To look for source of this high cortisol levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
