What Is The Cause For Headache, eye Irritation And Neck Pain With A Family History Of High Blood Pressure And Diabetes?
I am 39 my family has a history of high blood pressure and diabetes. I woke up this morning with a head ache and it hasnt gone away. My eyes are also very irritated and I have bumps in my eyes (those have been there awhile), I also have pain down my neck and back
As you are having a family history of high blood pressure, the headaches you are having might be related to oscillations to blood pressure (probably high levels). I suggest to measure your blood pressure and blood sugar levels and record the results for further evaluation.
With regards to the bumps in your eyes pain in your back, might be related to probably kidney/urinary tract infection. I suggest to do an urine analysis and complete blood profile to rule out such infection together with abdominal ultrasound.
The neck pain you are having might be related to arthritis (spondyloarthrosis), for which I suggest to run an X-ray of the spinal cord of neck segment.
Meanwhile, you can take otc oral painkillers together with applying locally analgesic drug together with warm clothing.
Hope it helped! Dr.Alba
