Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is The Cause And Treatment For Abdominal Discomfort As Test Are Normal?
I have abdominal discomfort since early Sep. I have also lost 6 pounds although I eat very well. I had CT scan in my upper abdominal and a gastroscopy and colonoscopy. General Blood tests look normal except TSH which is 0,7 (range is 0,4 -4,5). Do you know what else it could be?
HI. You have lost weight along with abdominal discomfort. Well TSH looks OK and can not be the reason of all this. I hope your blood sugars are normal as are other tests . Please tell us more. Do you have any other associated symptoms like nausea , bloating , motion problems , urinary symptoms and so on? IT is possible that there are some foods or beverages that can cause an allergic reaction and causing all this. It is always you who has to notice what increases or reduces the discomfort.
