What Is The Best Treatment To Normalize High Blood Pressure?

My dad is on 9 various prescriptions for high blood pressure, heart medication, etc. When I add all the meds to check for interactions and get the results, do the results apply to the course of the prescription, or to not take those pills DAILY together? WWW.WWWW.WW

Dear patient,

Thanks for the query. When somebody takes 6 or more medications, the possibility of interactions is virtually 100%; however, this does not mean that are all clinically relevant or that result in harm. If so many medications are needed to control blood pressure, the most unwise thing to do would be to stop them, as this may pose risks of stroke, heart attack and others.

Hope this helps, wish you the best,
