What Is The Best Treatment For Liver Cirrhosis?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? My father is suffering from lever cirrosis i like to know about its best treatment. What cost for same. Tell me it is dangeries for life and how long person leave if both lever failed by alcohol which having from 45 years. My father's is 64 years old , height is 5'10".weight is 90kgs.

Hi welcome to HCM...

Cirrhosis is irreversible condition because of more fibrosis......
So ultimate final treatment is liver transplantation....
It is costly procedure.....

In cirrhosis if spleenomegaly and ascites present then it is portal hypertension case....
For which low salt diet taken....
Diuretic if needed given...
Beta blocker help in reducing portal pressure......

If portal hypertension very much high and transplantation not possible then TIPSS like shunt placement can be done for high portal blood pressure .....

Take daily early in morning grined spinach and carrot juice .....

Take care.

Follow up regularly done....
