What Is Strovas 20g And Cap Bcosule ?

Hi, i live in Nigeria, west Africa and my 56 year uncle who just came from the Eastern part of the country to visit has a history of having suffered a stroke as well as being diabetic. He was referred to an Indian Hospital based here. Of all the drugs prescribed to him, two of the drugs, strovas 20g and CAP BECOSULE seems to be strange to our pharmacies here. Hi, I live in Nigeria, west Africa, and my 56 year uncle who just came from the Eastern part of the country to visit has a history of having suffered a stroke as well as being diabetic. He was referred to an Indian Hospital based here in Abuja. Of all the drugs prescribed to him, two of the drugs, strovas 20g and Cap Bcosule z seem to be strange to our pharmacies here. The pharmacies believe that there is an alternative name here for the drug, but that as it was prescribed by Indian doctors who use the name of this drug in India, it would be difficult to find out the name of the drug used here. Their theory is that some drugs have different names in different countries. My question is this; what is this strovas 20 and CAP BECOSULE meant for, (considering my uncle s health issues) and are there alternative names or drugs.

You can ask the Pharmacy for Tablet Atorvastatin 20mg and Capsule B-complex with Vitamin C as alternative to Storvas and Becosules. He needs to have a fat free diet. No junk food, fast food. He should eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables and be properly hydrated. Physiotherapy must be done if he has weakness or paralysis of the muscles due to the stroke. Regarding the Diabetes, make sure he is having proper diabetic diet as recommended by his Doctor, get his blood glucose estimated regularly. Also get his kidney function tested and eyes examined for any signs of damage by Diabetes.
