Dear doctors, I have a patient who is having persistent ascites with mild pleural effusion, raised TSH (with normal T3 T4 levels) hepatomegaly and physical features suugestive of a genetic disorder.(very tall built, long face ,small ears, slanting eyebrows).peritoneal biopsy shows thickrning with lymphohistiocytic infiltrate along with small cystic and large tubular spaces lined by bland mesothelial cells. Investigations also reveal hyproteinemia with hypoalbiminemia, anemia(hypochromic, microcytic) and intraabdominal small lymphnodes on CT abdomen. what could be the cause of worrysome ascites?
