What Does Widal Test Results Interpret?
My son is suffering from fever from 29th april.His latest reprt are as follows-
TLC - 14800
CRP 1:32
WIDAL TEST
S.TYPHI 'O' - 1:20+, 1:40+,1:80+
S.TYPHI 'H' - 1:20+,1:40+,1:80+
S.Paratyphi (ah) - 1:20+, 1:40+
s.paratyphi (bh) - 1:20+, 1:40+
Doctors are worried , becouse in typhoied fever is not comming with shivring

Your son has negative widal test.He is not suffering from typhoid fever.Fever may be due to other reasons.
Single value of salmonella O or H antigen titer values equal or greater than 1: 160 is considered as positive.
However four fold increase in titration is confirmatory.
Your son need proper clinical examination and further investigations.
