What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I had an ultrasound of my right kidney 6 weeks ago. My urologist just canceled my appointment for the 2nd time. I have the results of ultrasound but don t understand what it means. small right renal upper pole simple cortical cyst mild right renal pelviectasis or extrarenal pelvis large post void residue in the urinary bladder I knew I had the cyst. it was 10 mm now it shows to be 9 mm should I be concern about the results?

Not really. Cannot say in your particular case without getting more infor from you at least, AND cyst isn't cancer.

A declining in size one even less so. kidneys have had funny shapes there can be backing up and increased pressure in the kidney from a kink, bend, abnormality, big prostate which will cause fluid accumulation in the bladder (large post-void residual) and in the kidney (pelviectasis) but not outright blowing up like a balloon (hydronephrosis) so, it is mild.
