Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

The hormonal results you reported represent an over active thyroid or hyperthyroidism.

The nodule revealed at the right lobe of the thyroid gland, should have an autonomous function and produce too much thyroid hormones.

A scintiscan of the thyroid gland would give information about the nodule detected in the ultrasound.

If the nodule results to be a ''cold'' one, than an autoimmune pathology should be confirmed by checking Antibodies anti TSH receptors. Meanwhile you should continue the treatment with Neomercazole.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best wishes,
Dr. Mirjeta
