What Does This Abdomen Scan Report Indicate?
hello doctor i am 25 year old female recently i have done ultrasound of my whole abdomen and the reports were a s such -
1. Hepatomegaly with generalized grade I fatty changes
2.Right ovarian ? dermoid.
3.Transverse colonic tenderness
i am unaware whats wrong coz i went with the concern of my stomach ache which i was suffering from the past two week and was unhappy with the report . Please Help -Neha

Thank you for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having colitis. It is infection of colon due to bacteria. And this gives impression on colon tenderness. About hepatomegaly and fatty changes, if you are alcoholic or obese, excess fat can be deposited on liver and gives such impression. About ovarian dermoid, I think it is only an accidental finding Of ultrasound nothing worry about dermoid.
