What Does The Widal Test Results Show?
Hi Doctor, I went for a widal test and the results shows S. Typhi O =1:40 S. Typhi H = 1:80 S. Paratyphi A(H) = 1:80 S. Paratyphi B(H) = 1:160 This has been like this since 8 months bcos i have had test repeatedly and even after taking drugs, it still persists. I have no fever, no vomitting. But I normally have banging headaches AND Tiredness all the time. Also tests results shows Hypertatis B virus. Please direct me. ThanksT

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that your widal test results were negative. Whenever the titre goes above the 1:160 it will be positive. If you have hepatitis B virus positive than the symptom is because of it. I also want to ask you about the other lab investigations like what is the differential WBC count and others.
