Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the
ultrasound report is as follows:
The uterus is anteverted - this implies the uterus is placed at right position in the pelvis.
The size of the uterus is within normal limits.
The endometrium and
myometrium are within normal limits.
Both the ovaries are showing presence of multiple cystic structures.
Multiple cysts are present in case of
polycystic ovaries.
Polycystic ovaries are characterized by irregularities in menstrual cycles.
It is characterized by absence of ovulation and thus an empty retro-uterine sac.
retro-uterine sac is filled with fluid after ovulation.
However, polycytic ovarian syndrome is diagnosed only after couple of investigations.
You need to consult your gynecologist for investigations.
The relevant investigations are -blood LH/FSH ration, LH levels,
estrogen levels and blood insulin levels.
Thanks and take care
