What Does "bilateral Prominent Hilar Shadows" Mean?

what dose this mean: bilateral prominent hilar shadows mainly the right side associated with increased caliber of upper pulmonary vessels,widened vascular pedicles denoting signs of cardiac de-compensatation..........this and xchest x-ray report for my mom

Thanks for writing to HCM

According to chest X-ray report,hilum of both lungs are prominent mainly in the right side.
It is associated with widening of pulmonary vessels at hilum which may be due to heart problems.
She need proper cardiac examination.
