According to report, you are suffering from degenerative disc disease of lumbar spine. Degenerative changes occurs in spine due to aging and development of weakness in annulus fibrosis.
1.At L5-S1 level, there is moderate size is intervertebral disc herniation and it is touching exiting right S1 nerve root.
Majority of the cases of degenerative spine disease are benefited by physiotherapy,so physiotherapy should be tried first. Surgery should be the last option. There are also medicines like capsule pregabalin available for pain relief.
You are suffering from prolapsed intervertebral disc. This can be caused by many things like blunt trauma, bad postures, heavy weight lifting and age related and osteoporosis. In this the disc between to vertebrae goes displaced posteriorly and compressed the roots coming out from it. So patidnt gets pain in compressed region. Yhe best treatment is weight reduction, avoid bad postures, avoid heavy weight lifting, calcium supplements and physiotherapy. Surgical correction is also advised in selected patient. For this you need to consult orthopaedic surgeon.
