What Does My Testosterone Level Test Indicate?
My Doctor ordered a testosterone level test recently due to my lack of libido. The results showed total testosterone level in the normal rage 440 (range from 300 to 850) However my Free Testosterone level was below normal and sex hormone binding was above normal. My doctor says he only looks at Total levels and the other two are no relevant.

The free testosterone levels are more relevant than total testosterone levels in clinical practice.
I would advice you to have all the three tests repeated in the mornings before 10 AM and if the free testosterone is still low then advice supplementation preferably by an Urologist or endocrinologist.
I would also advise you to undergo LH, FSH and prolactin assays along with the testosterone levels.
