What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hi Drs, I am a 37 y.o male, 174cm tall, 86.2kg. Had biochemistry tests done and found Gamma GT to be 78 (5-50); AST 41 (10-40) and ALT 119 (5-40), cholesterol 6.1 (3.9-5.5). Can you help interpret these results and what I need to do to get back to normal levels? Thanks for your help.

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
GGT level is too sensitive, frequently elevated when no liver disease is apparent,it is associated with alcohol consumption. A GGT elevation is useful with ALT elevation in your case supporting liver disease.
High cholesterol indicates risk of heart disease you can lower it by bringing about lifestyle changes such as diet and physical activity,it usually respond well to dietary and lifestyle changes so medications can be avoided for lowering it.Hope this helps!Take care!
