What Does Multiple Enlarged Lymph Nodes In Submandibular, Cervical And Bilateral Groups Mean?

Hello Doctor, My name is mili and I am 34 years old. I had gone through mastoidectomy for 3-4 times in last 9-10 years. And my last surgery was held before 4 years. Now I had a swelling in my face at left side and severe pain in my left jaw. Then I had a HRC.T. Scan TEMPORAL BONE. The report of the same is as follows :-

The study shows evidence of focal soft tissue mass involving the Left tympanic cavity(epiand mesotympanum) and the mastoid antrum. The mass is abuting the anterosuperior walls of the tympanic cavity causing smooth bony erosion, and thinning of the tegmen tympani plate.

Note is made of Left mastoid cavity (Post surgical) with internal soft tissue density masses.

The left incudomalleolar articulation is not visualized.

The left tympanic membrane appears thickened and retracted medially.

The residual Left mastoid air cells are sclerosed, Suggestive of chronic mastoiditis.

Oval and round window niches are normal

Inner ear structures are normal.

Right sided ear and mastoid structures are normal.

Visualized spheno-ethmoid sinuses are clear.

Bony fascial canal is normal.

IMPRESSION:- Findings are suggestive of:- Features of Left sided mastoidectomy with focal soft tissue mass involving the tympanic cavity, mastoid antrum and the post surgical cavity, causing focal bony erosions?Cholesteatoma.

Note is made of thickened retracted Left tympanic membrane and non visualized incudo-malleolar articulations.

Report of CONTRAST (OMNIPAQUE) C.T.SCAN NECK is as follows:-

Serial axial sections of the neck were studied after bolus I/V contrast(Omnipaque)

The study shows evidence of multiple mildly enlarged lymph nodes involving the bilateral submandibular, sublingual, submental, Left posterior cervical and bilateral deep jugular(station II/III) groups. Largest node measures 13mm.No necrosis/calcification is seen.

Bilateral submandibular and parotid glands are normal

Major neck vessels are normal.

Right upper Ist molar appears carious.

Laryngeal neck apparatus is normal.

No fluid collection/mass is seen.

Prevertebral and parapharyngeal spaces are normal.

IMPRESSION :- Findings are suggestive of :- Multiple mildly enlarged lymph nodes involving the bilateral submandibular, sublingual, submental,Left posterior cervical and bilateral deep jugular groups.

Advised:- Histopathological correlation.

Now Doctor please tell me the seriousness of my disease and what next I have to do.
