What Does Ilietus In The Biopsy Suggest?

In 2006 I had a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with non-specific colitis. Last year I had another colonoscopy with a different doctor and he diagnosis was mild chrohns. The biopsy reads ilietus. I consulted with my first doctor and doesn't recoment any treatment. I am asymptomatic but I am concerned about any disease progressing. I have done some research and discovered that ilietus doesn't necessarily mean Chrohns disease. What would you reccomend I do?

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* Any report has to be evaluated in context to the existing symptoms .
* When there are no symptoms , ilietus might be non specific finding ,
infection related or others .
* Should not worry and be in touch with gastroenterologist follow up
regularly .

Hope this clears your doubt .
Wishing you fine recovery .

Welcome for any further assistance .
Regards take care .
