What Does Fibrotic Ptb,left Upper Lungfield Signify?
Lately i had a chest x-ray. And the result was fibrotic ptb, left upper lungfield. Is it dangerous? What medication should i undergo? I remember, 20 years ago, I underwent an operation with my cyst in the upper left chest. Does it has connection with this?

It might be misinterpreted that the left upper lung fibrosis is due to PTB. The findings are more consistent with that of the cyst surgery 20 years back mentioned by you. If this X ray is significant for an employment then please take relevant documents if available and tell the doctor to correct the report and cancel the mention of PTB. This is because PTB is seen as a deterrent to employment in many places.
