Hi
After going through your complaints and reports my opinion is as follows
1.Low serum Iron indicates iron deficiency anemia.
2. Low serum ferritin and transferrin levels indicate iron stores are decreased in the body.
3. ALP is near normal so not to worry unless you are having any symptoms of jaundice/ liver disorders.
4. Pregnancy and lactation are conditions where the demand for iron and other micro nutrients increase. Guess you were not regular with the iron and vitamin supplements.
5. Discuss with your consulting doctor for iron supplements(oral/iv) depending on your Hemoglobin levels. Also improve your nutrition with iron rich foods. You can also try citrus fruits as vitamin c increases iron absorption.
Avoid excess tea intake as it can inhibit iron absorption.
6. Go for deworming as hook worm infestation can cause blood loss and iron deficiency anemia.
Hope this helps.
Regards
