What Does Evidence Of Relaxation Abnormality With Mild Mitral, Pulmonicm, And Tricuspid Regurgitation Indicate?

My echocardiogram done Oct. 2011. I'm 66 years old and taking hypertensive medication nipidifine and losartan, Here's what the report says:---EF 58%, FS 30%.

Normal left ventricular dimension with hypokinesia of the entire septum from mid to apex; inferior left ventricular free wall from base to apex. Normal right ventricular dimension with adequate wall motion and contractility. Normal left and right atrial dimension. Thickened mitral valve without motion restriction. Thickened tricuspid aortic valve with calcification of non-coronary cusp without restriction of motion. No pericardial effusion. (the rest looks normal)

CONCLUSIONS
-Normal left ventricular dimension with segmental wall motion abnormality.
-Normal left right atrial dimension
-Doppler study showed evidence of relaxation abnormality with mild mitral, pulmonicm, and tricuspid regurgitation """
Am I in trouble? Thanks a lot for any elucidation. Should I get an angiogram?

Hello and welcome to HCm,
The interpretation of Doppler study is as follows:
There is abnormality in the relaxation or diastolic function.
Diastolic dysfunction refers to dysfunction when the cardiac muscles relax or during filling of heart chambers.
In addition, there is evidence of mitral and tricuspid regurgitation.
Mitral and tricuspid valves are valves of right and left side of hearts which separate atria and ventricles.
Regurgitation refers to back flow of uni-directional blood flow.
Back flow usually leads to dysfunction during diastole.

Thanks and take care
