General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
This may indicate several benign or less benign diseases of liver and gallbladder or biliary ducts. In most cases this happens due to stone in biliary duct and sometimes there is a tumor as underlying cause. She should do ERCP or CT scan for further evaluation and then surgery can be planned to relieve biliary obstruction..

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
