am suffering from breast pain on both breast,more on the left side that radiates to th lt. arm.mammogram shows diffused fatty replacement of the normal breast glandular parenchyma patternmost probably some calcified lympnodes due to an old non specific inflammatory process
1.Up to some extent the fatty replacement of the glandular parenchyma is normal. 2.According to the percentage its graded a 0-25% -I, 25-50% - II, 50-75% - III, > 75% -IV. any thing stage three or more should be considered as risk factor for malignant changes. 3.Presence of calcified lymph nodes are seen in case of longstanding breast inflammatory reaction could cause enlargement of lymph nodes and calcification. 4.A correlative ultrasound breast scan is recommended to assess any obvious lesions. 5.Finally its diagnosed with FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology / BIOPY for confirmatory diagnosis.
