Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Diastolic dysfunction is a condition where there is slightly less blood that arrives in the heart to be pumped out to the rest of the body. Earlier systolic dysfunction, where the heart is unable to pump blood out of the heart was a concern but now diastolic dysfunction is being increasingly reported and is said to be an early manifestation of heart disease. Please continue taking aspirin and follow up regularly with your doctor.
