What Does Echotexture Is Heterogeneous But No Discrete Mass Identified Mean?

I m a 57 yr. old who has had a hysterectomy in my early 40 s due to fibroids growing not only inside my uterus but outside as well. I m diabetic, have had breast cancer and my BRAC 1&2 were clear. I had a ultrasound done and it said the Echotexture is heterogeneous but no discrete mass identified(the cyst is attached to my rt. ovary) and there is fluid with deris in my vagina of uncertain etiology and doctor doesn t know what to think of it.

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you go for a CECT abdomen and pelvis and Ca125 to rule out the underlying medical condition so that we can start treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
