What Diet Regime Should Be Followed For Colitis With Type 2 Diabetes?

HI,I Have been diagnosed with Colitis, but cannot find a lot of information. I ask my DR. for any diet information and he does not have anything. I have had diarrhea since October. Had colonoscopy and upper GI ...did biopsy and that was how he found Colitis...am a diabetic (type 2) Please help, as I feel like the Dr. has left me hanging...

Hi, thank you for posting.

Well, there isn't an exact diet for diabetes type 2, but your health condition will improve if you follow my precautions:
-Eat smaller meals at more frequent intervals.
-Reduce the amount of greasy or fried foods.
-Limit consumption of milk or milk products, coffee and alcoholic drinks.
-Reduce the amount of carbohydrates and potatoes.

This diet will help you for the diabetes and colitis.
