What Could Painful Bulge Below Left Ear Indicate?

I am Anand, 28 years, Male.
Since yesterday I can feel a bulge below my left ear. It lies between tha jaw and neck just below the ear.
It is very small of the size of a groundnut.
I can feel a little irritation and pain. The irritation is felt in both the ears when I talk on phone.
I feel a little worried. I went to the hospital to show to an ENT specialist, but he is out of station
and would be available only on Monday. Can you please suggest some remedy for this. Whether I need to do some test and scanning.
