What Could Pain In Pelvis And Lower Back In Pregnancy With Spotting Indicate?

I'm 29 week pregnant and for three days had pain in my pelvis and lower back, today I woke up and had pink stained pants also had blood stained tissue when wiping after first wee of the day. The blood has gone now. Should I leave it and see if it goes away or is it time to panic?

Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic forum. I understand your query as well concern.

Spotting in late pregnancy(third trimester) may be the indication of something serious like placenta previa etc. As it is not heavily bleeding , so in my opinion it might not be anything serious. But you better consult your gynecologist for the same to rule out the cause If anything serious.

You may need a scan for confirmation that you & your baby is healthy. No need to worry much. Everything will be alright.

Lower back pain you are having because of stretching of uterus. It will be coming on & off as the pregnancy progresses.

Good luck,
Thanks
