What Could Excess Brownish Pink Discharge During Pregnancy Suggest?

I am 21 wks pregnant and have had an on/off browny pink discharge for 2 weeks.I went to see my GP yesterday who did an internal and took a swab to send to the lab. But yesterday I had no pink discharge. She diagnosed thrush and recommended Canesten pessary. I have the discharge back again this morning. Should I go ahead and get the Canesten or should I contact my GP?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Vaginal thrush is common in pregnancy and can lead to pink discharge.
However, you should also get a ultrasound done to confirm fetal well being and rule out any retroplacental hematoma which can lead to spotting.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
