What Could Epigastric Pain With Lack Of Bowels Suggest?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I'm 36 yr old white female, been having pretty persistent epigastric pain&
cramping for bout 4 days. Other than that I had noticed that I have been having decrease in bowel movemnts, with intermittent nausea, mostly lasting mostly in the morning time, last till mid afternoon. Eatting or drinking doesn't seem to make things worse or better. Also been belching, which is new for me also.

Hello,

You may be suffering from peptic ulcer disease or gastritis or irritable bowel syndrome. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid spicy food and caffeinated drinks.

Reduce stress, do yoga and meditation. If symptoms not improved then get it done upper GI endoscopy and stool examination is done.

Please consult your physician/gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
