What Could Difficulty Urinating With Prostate Being Normal Suggest?

it is very hard for me to urinate. my doctor prescribed me flomax to possibly help checked my prostate but it does not seem to be enlarged. The flomax seemed to help for maybe a week or two but i m right back where i started. I get up at least 5-8 times a night and a lot of times fall asleep standing up trying to urinate but usually catch myself before I fall. What is wrong with me?

Hello,

Get urine analysis done together with urine culture and sensitivity testing to rule out infection and kidney stones.

Plus do limit water intake in the afternoon, and sugar intake. Go to the bathroom each time you feel the need to, do not delay.

Kegels exercises can help. Try to train yourself.

Keep in close contact with your urologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
