What Could Crap With Blood Flow Post Ac -section Suggest?

Hi, I had my baby via c section on jan 3rd and had lochia right up untill about a week ago and all of a sudden the bright red blood started again with cramps . The cramps and blood flow like what I get with my period. This has been going on for a week now. I've had no major pains, fever or chills and have overall been feeling good. Also I did start my birth control pills about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Pls advise if this is normal or could something be wrong?? Thanks!

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular bleeding after caesarean section can be because of the dysfunctional uterine bleeding, or due to some products of conception left behind in the uterus.
I would suggest you to get a ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
