I am 8 weeks postpartum (csection #3). I bleed pretty heavily, red-maroon in color, for about 5 weeks. Three days after it stopped, I awoke with copious, watery, straw-colored discharge that stiffened when dried. Also had slight perineal irritation, but attributed that to the prolonged exposure to the lochia. I went to the doctor and was given a 10 day course of Augmentin. After completing, I did a one day yeast treatment and that applicator was bloody after inserting med (unsure if related). About a week later, the discharge returned, very copious and then intermittent. I also have occasional very slight pelvic pain or cramps, but if it weren t for the discharge, I wouldn t give it a second thought. I am exclusively breastfeeding.
