What Could Cause Prolonged Missed Periods, Vaginal Discharge With Swollen Stomach?

missed periods for about 8 months without being pregnant, nasty vaginal discharge and swollen abdomen. Took a herbal product and mentruation began. Now normal. What's the cause of this prolonged missed periods, vaginal discharge and abdomen/tummy swelling.

The cause of missed periods for so long could possible be due to pelvic inflammatory disease.
I would suggest you to consult Gynecologist who would like to confirm the diagnosis by ultrasound and smear examination of vaginal secretion. Complete treatment of residual infection is very important.
