What Could Cause Nasal Congestion In A 3 Weeks Old Child?

my baby is 3 weeks old, she has a congested nose since birth, the pediatrician said its due to narrow passages and that she will get better with time. she snorts and produces a snore like sound when crying or upset, she also moans continiously when sleeping, and seems to have apnea like response when feeding. actually she needs to stop feeding and breathes heavily like she was running a marathon. I took her to a pediatric ENT specialist, he said nothing is wrong with her passages. he heard a level 2 murmur in her heart and refered us to a cardiologist for an echo to be done. my baby also sleeps with her mouth open. I am really starting to worry. Is breathing heavily, moaning and the open mouth related to the heart murmur? Or is it just nasal congestion?

Hi...at his age it could just be a nasal congestion. Please do not relate all the findings together. As the baby grows older and if she is still having mouth breathing and snoring then we can consider upper airway resistance syndrome. Meanwhile at this stage, we need not do anything active.
