What Could Cause Fever In A 12 Years Old Child?
My son 12 yrs old fever yesterday and today be given him Ibuprofen fever goes down but comes back. Today started complaining of neck and throat hurting fever now 102. I have him with heating pad on neck and gave him 2 Ibuprofen now. Should we take him to ER in fever not down in 2 hrs and neck still hurts?

It seems that he might be having acute throat infection and might require oneantibiotic medicine course like Azithromicin for 3 days.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Give him light diet.
Avoid fried and junk food.
Ok and take care.
